OFF THE SHOULDER + DIY CHOKER NECKLACE

diy

Happy Monday!

Today I participated in the Style Collective's summer style challenge and the theme of the day was the Off-the-Shoulder top trend. I have been wanting to try this style for a while since the temps are rising and I tempted to show more skin to beat the heat, but I've felt self-conscious wearing my shoulders and back out. But, hey we all have flaws and that shouldn't stop any of us from wearing clothing we like! As long as we feel comfortable and rock confidence, we'll look great in no matter we wear!

I made this necklace from a piece of black velvet trim from Joann's for less than $2. Just get 1/2 yard and tie or add a snap button!

I wish you all the confidence to wear all your favorite styles and of course, happiness, joy and gloss while rocking them!

LWD: LITTLE WHITE DRESS

You know how everyone loves a LBD, well summer is primetime for the LWD! There is something ethereal about wearing white in summer and a little white dress is the perfect summer dress! And I particularly love this sleeveless button down white sundress!

My bestfriend/photographer had a vision of me lying in the grass (in my white dress lol) , but I think the photos turned out beautifully!

DOTTIE

Hi dolls,
It's summer and during summer I become obsessed with rompers. I love the feeling of wearing a dress but the ability to do spontaneous cartwheels in the grass if I wanted to and not flash the world!
(If only they had rompers with the snaps in the seats, so they'd be easier to get out of when using the bathroom, I would never wear anything else)

This black and white polka dot romper is one of my favorites. It makes me feel like Minnie Mouse!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your summer is continuously filled with Happiness, Joy and Gloss!

BLUE ROMPER

After a long summer session of Biochemistry and Anatomy, I came home for the weekend for some R&R. It was a casual saturday, and rompers are the perfect to feel comfortable but not look to undone. Plus they give me the structure of pants or shorts with the freedom of a dress.

I found this two-toned blue romper on sale at Forever 21 and the fedora at Charming Charlie!

BLUSHING...

I love pale pink so when I bought this top in early spring when blush was extremely popular it was still a little too chilly to wear out. Now that the temperatures have increased, the light flowy fabric is perfect to keep cool. I also love how classy this top looks with its dotted detail, but it's also casual enough to throw on with a simple pair of jeans.

This top was also great to pair with my nude/ pale pink Oxfords I ordered from Charlotte Russe. I have a feeling I'll be wearing them a lot this summer!
