Now that Valentine's Day is over, Winter might as well throw in the towel because with February being the shortest month, Spring sure does sneak up on us fast! Unfortunately living in North Carolina, Spring is a fickle season (snow, rain, sunshine, 50 degrees/ 70... who knows on any given day until May arrives and then it's just HOT!)

When the bomber jacket trend made its comeback this Fall, I wasn't sure how long it would last, but with the new colors and play with embrodiery and florals, the trend is going strong for Spring. And with so many colors and patterns, a bomber jacket is a great way to transition from winter to spring!

Since February is the month of L-O-V-E and Valentine's Day is less than a week away, I went with the classic V-Day colors of Red and White in today's post! I kept things simple with just a bright red turtleneck and my favorite white distressed jeans! This look is perfect to wear on V-DAY if you want to keep it casual!

Did you guys watch the Superbowl last night?! To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of football so I kinda muted the TV until Half-time, saw Lady Gaga kill it and changed the channel (don't judge!)

This winter, NC weather has been fickle. One day it's warm and sunny and the next it's just freezing and sunny. Today is one of the freezing and sunny days, but I still keep warm in my cardigans and sweaters even though I'm itching to breakout my Spring dresses and flowy tops, but until then... Boots and Sweaters it is!
